Best scanner for books/text? - best fastest scanner
I want a scanner that reads:
Fast-scanning in black and white.
Flat-bed, not less than 8.5x14 (11x14 or higher). I do not really need a document feeder, but it would be nice.
USB-enabled -2.0/networking.
"Not too expensive (\\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ u0026lt, $ 400).
What brand / model I expect?

Forget oversized. Re 8.5X11 "Stuck With if you do not have the $ 1,000 mark.
Document feeder is a must if you can cut the links of the books themselves. This will save you hours worth, in most cases (Antiques concept, of course) hour, the cost of replacement pounds.
I use an old Fujitsu 51xx doc leaves something to remove and reserve.
I use 10000XL Epson V700 and the odd size, size and transparencies.
I use OmniPage Pro for OCR.
